On October 30th, Ciera Glenn and her boyfriend Tyree Shelton were both shot in Shelton's Sheepshead Bay Houses building after returning from a Halloween party. Glenn died instantly, and Shelton was badly wounded. Now, police suspect that the gunman was after Shelton, an ex-con who served nearly two years in prison on a gun-possession conviction. A police source told the Daily News, "Maybe it was a robbery, but maybe this guy was the target." Nothing has been reported stolen, though one neighbor said Glenn had “No pocket book, no nothing" when he stumbled upon the bloody scene.
