Police are on the hunt for a suspect who used a block of ice to clock a woman outside a Brooklyn subway station.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on February 22nd at 7:30 p.m.: The suspect was on the sidewalk when he used a block of ice to hit a 28-year-old woman on the head. The victim had been walking up from the stairs from the Utica Avenue A/C station, and investigators believe the suspect took the ice from the street (it was very cold then).
The victim went to a hospital on her own and was treated for a concussion.
Police released images of the suspect, who is described as approximately 5’10 to 6’00” and approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a picture on the chest and black sneakers.
