The NYPD has released this sketch of a man they say posed as a police officer and sexually assaulted a teenage boy in Brooklyn on Friday morning. According to police, the man, who was dressed as a civilian, approached the 15-year-old boy around 9:30 a.m. on a subway platform at the 53rd Street and 4th Avenue subway station in Sunset Park. After seeing the teen throw an empty bag of chips onto the platform, investigators say he produced what appeared to be a police badge and ordered the teen to accompany him.

The victim followed the man to a white van and was driven two miles to 92nd Street, near Dahlgren Place in Bay Ridge, where he was sexually assaulted. He then drove back to 38th Street and let the teen go. The suspect is described as between 45 and 49 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds. He has a bald head, a gray mustache and a mole under the left side of the lip.

Police are still searching for a man who impersonated a police officer and sexually assaulted and then robbed a Queens woman last month.
