Police are asking for help locating two suspects accused of shooting a man in the leg and attempting to rob him in Williamsburg earlier this month.

According to police, the victim, a 24-year-old man, was standing outside Lorimer Street near Ten Eyck Street around 8:45 p.m. on May 3rd when he was approached by the two suspects. The conversation soon gave way to an argument, resulting in one suspect shooting the victim in the leg while the other attempted to rob him.

The pair fled the scene, and the victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was treated and released.

One suspect was wearing what appears to be a rather vibrant checkered shirt, and the other was wearing a blue shirt. Both wore jeans.
