A woman was raped by a home intruder who barged into her apartment located somewhere in the 33rd Precinct (which covers Washington Heights) last night. Police say the 20-year-old woman answered her door at approximately 11:30 p.m., at which point the unidentified man pushed his way into the apartment. The suspect then raped the woman before fleeing on foot.

The victim was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in stable condition.

The police released an image of the suspect, who is described as 20-25 years old, approximately 6'9" and wearing black pants and a white shirt with dark horizontal stripes.
