The NYPD is hoping that the public can help them identify and locate the man suspected of raping a woman in her East Village apartment building yesterday morning.
According to the police, the 22-year-old victim had entered her East 7th Street building at 3:30 a.m. when the suspect pushed her inside and raped her.
The suspect, described as being 5'6", 170 pounds and last wearing a white hat, blue sweatshirt and blue jeans, is seen in this video taking off a jacket and putting down a bag.
