Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a woman walking in the East Village yesterday morning.

According to the NYPD, a 35-year-old woman was walking past 405 East 6th Street around 5 a.m. when someone approached her from behind. The male suspect displayed a knife and demanded her property, the police say, leading her to drop her purse containing $300 and an iPhone. The victim managed to flee.

Police released a video of the suspect right after the robbery—it looks like he's holding a purse and drops a phone.
