2005_12_wanted.jpgLast night, local news channels play a grainy surveillance tape from a Kingsbridge-area Bronx apartment building that seemed to show the man who raped a 16 year old on the building's roof on Wednesday. According to reports, the girl was walking home from the Kingsbridge Road subway station at 5:40PM and had entered her building when the man grabbed her. He threatened her with a knife and raped her, later tying her to a satellite dish and stealing her earrings and money. The girl was able to free herself, and ran home and told her mother.

The Post quotes a police source as saying, "We really want to get this animal before he hurts someone else." Area residents are scared, as many women walk home from the subway at that late afternoon/early evening hour.
