A 9-year-old boy was stabbed in the stomach while walking with his grandmother on Wednesday in Brooklyn, and police are now searching for two teens who they believe are responsible. Siu Fung Sze was walking home from summer camp with his grandmother in Sheepshead Bay around 6 p.m. when they were jumped: "The two attackers were standing here, they were leaning against the poles. Basically, they came out of nowhere and stabbed her grandson," said a translator for the grandmother, Yue Lan Zhou.
The grandmother attempted to fight the attackers off with her umbrella: "She was screaming. She wanted to chase the two boys down, but they ran away so she stopped and went back to her grandson. She chased two steps then turned around because he was obviously injured," said the translator. The boy suffered a small puncture wound, but thankfully, was treated and released from the hospital. It's unclear what the attackers were after, but police have released surveillance video of two teens between the ages of 14 and 18 who they believe are responsible. You can see the suspects below:
