A group of children are being sought for mugging a man on a Brooklyn street right after the Thanksgiving. Police believe one of the suspects is as young as eight years old.
The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, November 25th, in front of 191 Willoughby Street in Fort Greene. According to the NYPD, a 30-year-old man was on the sidewalk when four kids "approached him and demanded his phone. The individuals began to punch the victim, throwing him to the ground removing his laptop bag, library book and headphones. The individuals fled northbound on Ashland Place."
Police released surveillance video of the suspects; one of them is much shorter than the others:
The suspects are a female, about 12-14 years old, who was last seen wearing light colored pants and green hooded jacket; two males around 12-14 years old (one wearing a black colored sweatshirt with "Brooklyn" in white letters, light colored pants and the other wearing wearing dark pants and a gray hooded sweat-shirt); and a boy around 8 or 9 years old, last seen wearing dark colored pant and a dark hooded coat.
