Police announced tonight that they arrested a suspect in the sexual abuse of two little girls. Yesterday, the NYPD released surveillance video of a man who allegedly entered a Jackson Heights, Queens building on Monday night—and then went to the laundry room where he attacked a four-year-old and a nine-year-old. The video showed a smiling man in a striped hooded sweatshirt:
Mario Lopez, 52, a Brooklyn resident, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of sexual abuse, two counts of luring a child to commit a crime and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
