Trump may still have his hit TV show Celebrity Apprentice, but actual real celebrities are turning on him faster than Trump turns on his so-called apprentices. Jerry Seinfeld hates him so much, he pulled out of a charity event for his son's Eric Trump Foundation. Robert DeNiro compared him to a car salesman, just making up things without backing any of his claims. Cher's hatred was so bottled up, she took to Twitter to blast The Donald, calling him "a Pompous A--hole!" and "a complete idiot," and adding that "DT is disrespectful bully who'd step over his Own Body 2 get on tv & Spew his special brand of venom! no morals just bottom lines." And now, David Letterman is considering banning Trump from his late night show until he apologizes for his attack on Obama.
Journalists and TV anchors have had even less patience with Trump's shenanigans. An uncharacteristically angry Bob Schieffer, the respected CBS host of Face The Nation, recently implied that Trump was racist for hounding President Obama about his grades. Columnist George Will called him a "blatherskite:" "That is a word my grandmother was fond of as someone who blathers promiscuously." MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell called him "the racists' greatest hero" over the birther stuff. New Yorker editor Mark Singer subtly mocked him, Bill Maher outright mocked him, and even Glenn Beck is uncomfortable with him, and thinks he's a "showboat." He'll always have Meghan McCain though.
If anyone has a great reason to hate Trump, it's black people: earlier this month, he declared proudly during an interview, "I have always had a great relationship with the blacks." But thanks to his birther rhetoric, he's lost most of that alleged good will. Whoopi Goldberg called his line of questioning on Obama's birth certificate "the biggest pile of dog mess I've heard in ages!" She also added, "It's not because he's black, is it? I've never heard of any white president who had to show his birth certificate. That's BS!" Tracy Morgan said "nobody got no time for Donald Trump. Go build buildings, go play with your Lego set." Countless others have called him a racist for asking to see President Obama's grades. Even so, he still makes for good lyrical fodder for rappers.
There has yet to be a speech in the last two months that Trump hasn't taken an opportunity to rant about China and how they're "raping this country"...though they're still good enough to produce his clothing line, mind you. He may have reached his apex this week when talking about taxing Chinese goods: "Listen you mother fuckers we're going to tax you 25 percent."
The clear winner. Trump and Rosie O'Donnell have been hating on each other for years, and nobody seems to get under Trump's skin like her. Just take a look at this quote he said about her, and soak in all that hate: âShe went to my wedding. She had lots and lots of cake, and I'll tell you what, she is a terrible human being.â
