After Hurricane Sandy, there were literally hundreds of animals that were displaced and scattered across the five boroughs—the ASPCA has been doing everything they can to house those animals and get them adopted into loving households ever since. That includes 30 felines who were all rescued from a cat hoarder in Brooklyn in November. And today starting at noon, the ASPCA is having an adoption event in Brooklyn to try to get these pretty kitties new homes.

The cats have been taken care of by One Love Animal Clinic for the past few months, and are now healthy enough to be adopted. The event goes from noon till 5 p.m. today at the One Love Animal Hospital (317 Atlantic Avenue, between Smith and Hoyt Streets). Click through the photos above, and learn a bit more about these five beautiful kitties.

All available cats will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, behaviorally assessed and provided an ID tag free of charge. Additionally, adoption counselors from the ASPCA will be on-site to help answer questions about temperament and personality in order to make the best possible match with potential adopters.
