We've gotten quite a few questions in the past half hour about a billowing black cloud of smoke rising over Greenpoint and here is what we know: According to the FDNY the fire is in a two-story commercial building (specifically a soundstage) at 43 Moultrie Street off of Norman Avenue. The fire started at 12:53 p.m. and became a two-alarm fire after it burst through the roof at 1:02 p.m. The FDNY is very much at the scene and, as of now, no injuries have been reported.
