The mythical Fulton Center transit hub will serve A/C/E/J/R/Z/1/2/3/4/5 customers when it finally opens downtown some day. But nearly ten years after plans for the hub were unveiled, that day is still a ways away (fingers crossed for 2014!). But in case you'd given up hope, the MTA wants to assure you that things are moving right along. And so they've put some pictures online.

Today the MTA dropped a sweet gallery of photos updating New Yorkers on the project, specifically focusing on the gorgeous detail work that has gone into restoring the Corbin Building on the corner of John Street and Broadway. That skinny slip of a building hasn't looked this good in ages. Look at these restored details!

Also not looking too shabby? The giant four-story glass-topped dome—the oculus— that will be the Transit Center's heart. Is it 2014 yet?
