Traffic got a little bit tight this afternoon on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn after a nasty accident at the Union Street intersection sent one woman to the hospital.
According to the FDNY, the accident occurred right in the middle of the intersection at about 1:35 p.m.. Emergency services were quickly on the scene and transported one of the drivers to Lutheran Hospital in "serious but stable" condition. The other driver was apparently fine and the mess is being cleaned up now.
