A miracle on 34th Street? Two police officers and one civilian driver were taken to Bellevue hospital this morning after a collision between a taxicab and a police van sent the latter onto 34th Street. Despite the trips to the hospital it appears that nobody was seriously injured.

The accident occurred this morning about 6:30 a.m., according to the FDNY, at the intersection of Park Avenue South and East 34th Street. Afterwards two police officers and one driver were taken to Bellevue where they were treated for minor injuries. Police tell us they are still investigating the cause of the accident.
