The police released a photograph of a man suspected of sexually abusing a woman on a 4 train on Monday during the morning rush hour.
According to police, the incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. on December 17th on a southbound 4 train between 86th Street and 59th Street. The man, described as a white male around 40-45 years old, approached a woman from behind and "began to rub himself against her." Obviously the morning and evening commutes are paradise for these perverts, because trains are usually crowded, allowing them to get close to victims.
The victim was able to take a photograph, and police ask that anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers' website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
The Manhattan DA's office is taking subway "grinding" very seriously, but NY State's highest court doesn't think it rises to the felony level when the perv ejaculates on victims.
