A person was struck by the L train in Brooklyn this afternoon, halting rush hour service between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The FDNY tells us the individual, whose gender has not been disclosed, was on the tracks between Bushwick Avenue and Montrose Avenue at around 4:19 p.m. today when he or she was struck. EMT's are on the scene, but the victim's condition is not yet known.

The MTA has halted L train service between 8th Av and Myrtle Av-Wyckoff Av in both directions.
