Person Hit on Subway Track at Union Square; Delays on 4, 5, 6

2008_06_ussub.jpgThis morning, a person was hit by a train by a 4 train at the Union Square subway station around 8:30 a.m. The police investigation is ongoing (power is being shut off/needs to be shut off), and NYC Transit is running Brooklyn-bound 4 and 5 trains on the local tracks between Grand Central and Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Which means delays on the 4, 5, and 6 lines.

Some 5 trains are also running on the 2 line between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Nevins. MTA NYC Transit is also reporting that D and N train service "has resumed with residual delays" after an earlier incident.
