Investigators say a seasonal Parks Department employee fatally stabbed and killed his fellow employee at the Al Oerter Recreation Center in Queens just hours after Mayor Bloomberg hosted a press conference there. According to police, 51-year-old Robert Swann stabbed 31-year-old Ezra Black at around 3:15 yesterday afternoon. Swann fled into Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, but was detained shortly after at the Unisphere. Police sources told the Daily News that the two had an "ongoing feud," and that Swann stabbed Black once in the chest.

The two men were working as maintenance workers under a job-training program designed for welfare recipients. Swann is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
