A pair of Brooklyn parents were arrested last night after allegedly leaving their young daughters in a casino parking lot while they gambled.

Police say that Maria Loja, 33, and Segundo Japa, 34, locked their 6 and 8 year-old daughters in a car in the Resorts World Casino parking lot in Ozone Park last night. A security guard spotted the girls inside the car at around midnight, and notified police officers. Cops arrested the couple, who were gambling inside.

The girls were brought to a local hospital, where it was determined they were uninjured. Loja and Japa, who reside in Bushwick, have been charged with two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a minor.

This is far from the first time that parents (or grandparents) have been arrested for leaving their kids in the car while they gambled the night away.
