The Times reports that "Yoko Ono’s chauffeur was so stressed by his job that eight of his teeth fell out because he was grinding them at night." This is what Karsan told Ono's lawyer during a recorded conversation.
Karsan’s lawyer said outside of the court yesterday, after another bail hearing, that he has seen the videotape in which his client says he will embarrass, humiliate and possibly have Ono killed unless she pays him $2 million. Of this tape, his lawyer said, "You don’t see anything but you hear everything loud and clear.”
On the tape, Karsan can be heard saying that there are “a lot of people out there who want to get” Ms. Ono and that he had a "team" ready to "kill" her. He explains all of this, however, as having a team of lawyers ready to take her down in court, and the others as Beatles fans that do not like her for breaking the band up.
However, when he said his legal team was “ready to kill Yoko,” Ono’s lawyer asked if he was speaking metaphorically, to which Karsan replied, “No, no, no, no metaphorically, I’m telling it literally.”
In a hearing yesterday the judge declined to set bail at the risk of Karsan would flee to Turkey. A trial date has been set for February 12th.
