According to 1010 WINS, a 29-year-old man was splashed with hydrochloric acid in an Upper East Side apartment around 6 a.m. this morning: "Authorities say the victim had gone to 354 East 78th Street Thursday night see a woman he met online. At around 6:20 a.m., the woman’s boyfriend arrived home and found the pair together." The boyfriend was apparently not happy and threw acid at the online date. The boyfriend, 37, fled and police are looking for him. Yesterday, it was reported that a man threw a bucket of bleach on his ex-girlfriend and her toddler son in Queens last week. Update: The Daily News' report on the UES acid attack, "A 29-year-old man was doused with acid by the jealous boyfriend of a transgendered teen on the upper East Side Friday morning, police said..."
