One man was killed and another was injured in a fatal jet ski collision, which happened in the Harlem River on Saturday.

A police spokesperson says the incident happened around 8 p.m. on Saturday in the river close to West 203rd Street and Ninth Avenue. Two men, aged 35 and 37, were riding jet skis when they crashed into each other.

Good Samaritans were able to get both men, who were unconscious and unresponsive, out of the water. One eyewitness told ABC that they saw "two men on jet skis trying to do what he described as 'tricks' in the moments leading up to the accident."

Both men were transported to New York Presbyterian Hospital, where the 35-year-old man was pronounced deceased. The 37-year-old man suffered minor injuries and is expected to survive.

Cops add that no criminality suspected at this time, and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
