One man was killed this morning and one is in critical condition after being struck by subway trains in separate incidents.

According to the FDNY, the first incident occurred at 2:02 a.m. today at 174th Street Station at Southern Boulevard in the Bronx. A man was on the tracks at the northbound 2 train's platform, when he was struck by an approaching train. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where officials say he is in critical condition.

One straphanger who witnessed the event caught some of the accident on camera, and uploaded a [WARNING: GRAPHIC] video to Facebook this morning that shows the victim pinned between the subway car and the platform. We have reached out to him for comment, and will update with more information.

The second incident occurred a little over three hours later, at 23rd Street and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan. The FDNY says a man was struck in the station by an incoming train and pronounced dead at the scene; no immediate identifying details have been released, and the NYPD is currently investigating the incident. Northbound A trains were running with track changes and delays during rush hour this morning, but the MTA tells us full service has since been restored.
