Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning in East Harlem, on Lexington Avenue near 122nd Street. One man was killed, while two others were wounded.
According to the NYPD, police responded to a 911 call about a person shot at 2:26 a.m. When they arrived in front of 1991 Lexington Avenue, they found two men inside a Honda Accord, both with gunshots. One man who was shot in the torso was pronounced dead at the scene while another man, 27, who was shot in leg was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
A third man, 33, was discovered with a gunshot wound to his left forearm; he was also taken to St. Luke's.
Police are reportedly looking for a red vehicle that fled the scene.
