One person was killed and one person was seriously injured after being struck by two separate subways in Brooklyn on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the NYPD confirms they received a call early Saturday for a man wandering on the tracks near the Church Avenue station. He was struck by a Coney Island-bound Q train around 8 a.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the FDNY.
No criminality is expected, police said.
Later in the day, the FDNY responded to another trauma call, this one for a man injured in the Kosciuszko Street Station in Bushwick.
According to the Post, he "decided to dangle his legs off the edge of the northbound J train platform" and "was seriously hurt when the train rolled in and hit him." The man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and is likely to survive, the FDNY said.
Neither victim has been identified so far.
