A third lawsuit has been filed against the city and Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna

for indiscriminately using pepper spray against Occupy Wall Street protesters a year ago today. The protester who is suing, Kaylee Dedrick, is due to deliver a baby girl conceived with Robert Grodt, a civilian medic who helped her that day and also proposed to her in Zuccotti Park back in February.

Dedrick's attorney, Ron Kuby, adds in a press release [PDF], "Despite her lawyers’ requests, the couple refuses to name their baby 'Pepper.' " May be humbly suggest "Capsaicin?" Or "Toni" after the man who brought the couple together? After all, she was just a glimmer in a Deputy Inspector's pepper-spray can until Occupy Wall Street came along.
