We won't be able to see President Obama's appearance on the Daily Show for a few hours, but luckily, POTUS' press pool reporter was there to witness the exchange and give us a solid preview. Apparently Jon Stewart asked Obama how many times a week Vice President Joe Biden shows up to meetings in a wet bathing suit. "We had to stop that," Obama said, joking that he issued a "presidential directive" to put an end to Biden's fun. "I gotta say, though, he looks pretty good."

According to the pool reporter (today it was David Nakamura of The Washington Post), Stewart also asked the president about Guantanamo Bay:

"I still want to close Guantanamo. We haven’t been able to get that through Congress...One of the things we have to do is put a legal architecture in place, and we need Congressional help to do that so that not only am I reined in but any president’s reined in in terms of some of the decisions we’re making.”

And about his administration's response to the Benghazi attack:

"Here’s what I’ll say. When four Americans get killed, it’s not optimal. We’re going to fix it. All of it…The government is a big operation and any given time something screws up. And you make sure that you find out what’s broken and you fix it. Whatever else I have done throughout the course of my presidency the one thing that I’ve been absolutely clear about is that America’s security comes, and the American people need to know exactly how I make decisions when it comes to war, peace, security, and protecting Americans."

And also how many emails soliciting donations his campaign can send out in 14 minutes: "It depends on whether you’ve maxed out!"

The president will also speak at the Al Smith Foundation Dinner tonight at the Waldorf-Astoria, along with candidate Mitt Romney. Stay tuned for a bitch-slapping pool report on that annual event.
