Police are looking for a rape suspect who allegedly preyed upon his victim when she was asking for directions.

Authorities say that around 12:55 a.m. on Sunday, October 6th, the suspect "grabbed a 31-year-old female by her arm and led her to a location in the vicinity of West 51st Street between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue, where he raped her."

The woman was reportedly visiting from Yonkers and trying to go to Queens when she got lost and asked for help.

The suspect fled north on Broadway near 52nd Street. The victim was taken to a hospital; police say she suffered bruising to her right arm, back and right leg.
