Investigators have released a new video of a man who attacked a woman walking on a Bushwick street last week.
According to the NYPD, the assault occurred at 12:40 a.m. last Friday, June 12th, when a 36-year-old woman was walking along Starr Street, near Irving Avenue: "The suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her by the waist. The suspect then threw the victim onto the ground where he sexually assaulted her with his hand. The victim physically resisted and screamed for help."
Luckily a nearby neighbor called from his window, which, police say, "prompt[ed] the suspect to flee the location before he was able to rape her." The victim was treated at Woodhull Hospital.
