The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who attempted to rape a woman in Brooklyn yesterday morning.

According to police, at 2:56 a.m. on September 28, a 25-year-old woman was walking near the corner Morgan Avenue and Driggs Streets when she was grabbed from behind. The suspect pushed her against a wall and tried to rape her, police say, but she was able to fend him off by biting his arm. The suspect fled on foot.

The NYPD released video of the suspect, describing him as wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans and running sneakers.
