The police are hoping the public can help them identify a man who allegedly punched a subway rider on the G at a Brooklyn station last month.

According to the NYPD, on Friday, September 5, 2014 at approximately 7:25 a.m., "the suspect punched the 35-year-old male victim in the face as he exited a northbound 'G' train at the Hoyt Street and Schermerhorn Street subway station. The suspect then fled the subway station to parts unknown. The victim did not go to the hospital."

Police released a photograph of the suspect, who is described as being about 5'11" and 185 pounds and who was wearing a dark polo shirt, dark blue jeans, and eyeglasses while carrying a messenger bag.
