The police are hoping the public can help them locate a man who tried to rape a woman last week in a Tribeca building.
According to the NYPD, at 9:15 p.m. on Friday, September 20, a 39-year-old woman walked into her apartment building when a man pushed her to the floor and attempted to rape her. Another person walked in and scared the attacked away. The victim was treated for bruising.

The police describe him as a man in his late 40's to mid-50's, 5'8"-5'10" tall, weighing 170-200 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue blazer, white shirt, dark pants and black dress shoes.
