A veteran NYPD officer has been suspended after accidentally firing off his gun outside a Brooklyn biker club. William Powell is a Queens cop who has been on the force for 15 years. The 40-year-old officer was hanging out outside GridLoc Truck Club in Brownsville with friends yesterday around 3 a.m. when his gun went off and shot a hole through a friend's car. Cops arrived on the scene as Powell allegedly barked at them, "Don't f--- with me! I'm on the job." While he was not arrested, the News says that investigators determined that he was too drunk to perform his duties as a police officer—enough to warrant a suspension. Police sources told the News that Powell was "wasted drunk" and that "he'll be lucky to keep his job."
