A 30-year-old pregnant woman was reportedly "stabbed 30 times" and has lost her baby, according to police.

Authorities responded to a 911 call about a stabbing inside a building at 1027 Walton Avenue in the Bronx around 12:36 a.m. today. The woman, found with multiple stab wounds to her torso, was taken to Lincoln Hospital where, the NYPD says, "her fetus was pronounced deceased."

The victim, who is currently in critical condition, was identified by the Daily News as Liv Abreu. According to the News, "While bleeding, Abreu, 26 weeks pregnant, somehow made it to the second floor of her building and called for help from a neighbor's apartment."

A police spokesperson said the victim's boyfriend turned himself in and is currently at the 44th Precinct.

A neighbor told WABC 7, "They are a nice family, I've never heard them fight or anything like that. I'm still in shock, I can't believe it happened."
