Police hope the public can help them identify and find the suspect in this sketch, who allegedly tried to convince a 12-year-old girl to get into his vehicle in Bushwick.

According to the NYPD, the kidnapping attempt happened on Friday, June 5th, at 3:35, at the corner of Saratoga Avenue and Marion Street: A 12-year-old girl was walking home when a dark colored (SUV or Minivan) operated by a unknown man approached her. The driver honked his horn to get the girl's attention, then, police say, he "rolled down his window and opened his passenger side door motioning for the victim to come inside his vehicle."

Luckily the victim continued walking and the suspect drove westbound on Marion Street.
