The police are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect in three grand larcenies along the F line in Manhattan.

According to the NYPD, in each instance, a female victim's chain was snatched or was nearly snatched.

1) On Monday, July 27, 2015, at 1550 hours, the victim, a 29-year-old female, was sitting on a south bound "F" train in the vicinity of the East Broadway Station, within the confines of the 7 Precinct, when the suspect walked past her and attempted to pull her chain off her neck. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the station. There were no reported injuries.

2) On Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 1150 hours, the victim, a 26-year-old female, was riding the north bound "F" train in the vicinity of the 23 Street station, within the confines of the 13 Precinct, when the suspect approached her and grabbed the chains off her neck. The chains fell on the floor and the suspect fled empty handed. There were no reported injuries.

3) On Friday, August 7, 2015, at 1430 hours, the victim, a 74-year-old female, was riding the south bound "F" train in the vicinity of the East Broadway station when the suspect approached her and grabbed her chains off her neck. The suspect then fled the train. There were no reported injuries.

Police also released images of the suspect, who is described to be 30-37 years old, 6'2" and 250-310 pounds.
