Police are asking for the public's help in finding burglar who broke into a Bronx home and got away with cash, cologne and a pair of cockatiel birds still in their cages last month.

Investigators say that on the morning of June 23rd, the man caught on the video below broke into the basement apartment of a home on Edison Avenue in the Bronx. He allegedly left the apartment with a laptop, a cologne collection, a birdcage with two cockatiels and $600 in cash. He fled in a Dodge Neon with Florida plates.

The suspect is described as between 5'9" to 5'10" with a tattoo on his right arm, was last seen wearing a blue helmet and presumably smells magnificent at the moment.
