The incident occurred on August 13th at 11 p.m. in a residential building in the vicinity of West 112th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. According to the NYPD, "the suspect followed the 24 year-old female victim to the door of her apartment and touched her buttocks and genitals over her clothing. The suspect then fled the building eastbound on 112 Street."
The police released images of the man, describing him as 20 to 25 years old, 5'6" and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a grey shirt, gray shorts, white sneakers, and glasses. Police say he had on a backpack.
