A little girl was molested while walking upstairs at a Bronx subway station, and now the police are releasing a sketch of the suspect in hopes the public can help them identify him.
The incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. last Tuesday, August 2nd, at the East 149 Street and Grand Concourse subway station between the 2 and 4 line platforms. According to the NYPD, "the 8-year-old female victim was walking behind her 39-year-old mother up the stairs when the unknown individual approached from behind and forcibly squeezed her buttocks twice, saying he was 'sorry.' The individual then ran back toward the southbound 4 train and fled to parts unknown."
The authorities describe the suspect, who is wanted for forcible touching, as being about 30 years old, 5'6"-5'8" tall and 160-175 pounds with straight black hair and a light goatee and beard. He was last seen wearing glasses, a blue Yankee t-shirt and black jeans. (Police sketch at right.)
