Cops are looking for an iPhone thief with a hot pink sartorial style who has robbed at least five young women in Brooklyn and Queens over the last month. All of the incidents happened aboard R, E or F trains; all of the victims were women between 16 and 28. In most of the incidents, the suspect snatched their phone (or iPad) as the train was pulling into the station; but in the most recent incident, the suspect punched the 16-year-old in the face.
Incident# 1 (Grand Larceny)On Friday, November 16, 2012 at 1825 hours, while aboard a southbound 'E' train, the suspect snatched an iPad from a F/26 as the train doors opened at the 75 Avenue station. (112 Pct)
Incident# 2 (Robbery) On Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 0730 hours, while aboard a southbound 'E' train, the suspect forcibly removed an iPhone from a F/19 as the train entered the 71 Ave station. (112 Pct)
Incident# 3 (Grand Larceny) On Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2142 hours, while aboard a northbound 'F' train, the suspect snatched a phone from a F/28 as the train entered the Jay St station. (84 Pct)
Incident# 4 (Grand Larceny) On Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 1220 hours, while aboard a southbound 'R' train, the suspect snatched a cellphone from a F/28 as the train entered the 65 St/ Broadway station. (108 Pct)
Incident# 5 (Robbery) On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, while exiting the 'R' train 67 Avenue station, the victim F/16, was punched in the face and her cellphone removed as she walked up the stairs. (112 Pct)
