Police are looking for a pair of people who go to Brooklyn bars and sit down next to female customers in order to steal from their bags.
The NYPD has described three incidents, two at the Prospect Heights venue Saint Catherine Bar and one at Chavela's in Crown Heights:
Incident #1: It was reported to police that on Saturday October 8, 2016, at approximately 0100 hours, inside of 660 Washington Avenue (Saint Catherine bar), the male individual sat next to the female victim, removed her purse from her chair and walked out of the bar. Among the items inside the purse were a pair of headphones.
Incident #2: It was reported to police that on Sunday October 16, 2016, at approximately 0005 hours, inside of 660 Washington Avenue (Saint Catherine bar), the female individual sat next to the 21 year-old female victim, knocked her pocketbook to the floor, picked it up and walked out of the bar. Among the items inside the pocketbook were $30 in cash, a cell phone and a credit card.
Incident #3: It was reported to police that on Thursday October 20, 2016, at approximately 2100 hours, inside of 736 Franklin Avenue (Chavela's Restaurant), the female individual sat behind the 40 year-old female victim, rummaged through her purse and removed her wallet. The individual fled the restaurant with $27 in cash and 3 credit cards.
Police released images of the female suspect, who is described as 40-46 years old and has a pronounced limp; she was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat and white shirt, dark colored pants while carrying a black purse.

The other suspect is described as a black male, around 50 years old, who was last seen wearing dark clothing.
