A pair of thieves are wanted for lifting pricey handbags from two Manhattan boutiques.
According to the NYPD, the two incidents occurred in March. The first was at the Hermes store (691 Madison Avenue) on March 7, at 4:14 p.m; police say, "Suspect #1 proceeded to the lower level and removed a handbag from the display, while suspect #2 acted as lookout. Suspect #1 then concealed the handbag in his black shopping bag and exited the store to parts unknown."
Then, on March 8, at 3:25 p.m., one of the suspects was at Salvatore Ferragamo (655 5th Avenue) and allegedly "removed two women's handbag concealing them in his booster bag and then exited the store to parts unknown." (Here's a description of a booster bag.)
The police released images of the suspects. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
