Police are seeking a pair of suspects who have apparently robbing high-end phones and their money from victims in Queens early yesterday morning.
According to the NYPD, the first incident occurred at 12:25 a.m. yesterday. A 22-year-old man was walking near 58th Road and 138th Street (109th Precinct) when two males put him into a chokehold, showed they were armed and then took his Samsung Galaxy cellphone and wallet. Twenty minutes later, a 31-year-old man and 38-year-old woman had gotten out of their car at near 84th Drive and 148th Street when a suspect approached them, displayed a firearm and removed the victims iPhone, purse and wallet before fleeing.
None of the victims required medical attention. The suspects are described as being about 5'7"-5'9", 18-20 years old with thin builds. Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8447).
