When hanging out in bars in Williamsburg (or anywhere in NYC, for that matter), DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BAGS UNATTENDED. Otherwise you be targeted by thieves, like a person who is suspected of four grand larcenies at different bars since September.

The police gave details of the incidents:

1: On Sunday, September 14, 2014 at approximately 2100 hours, the suspect entered "The Well", located at 272 Meserole Street and removed the 23 year-old victim's unattended bag, which contained an iPhone and multiple credit cards.

2: On Saturday, October 4, 2014 at approximately 0300 hours, the suspect entered "Tutus Brooklyn", located at 25 Bogart Street and removed the 26 year-old female victim's bag while she was having a cigarette outside the location. The victim's bag contained $30 in cash and multiple credit cards.

3: On Sunday, October 12, 2014 at approximately 0330 hours, the suspect entered the "Trash Bar", located at 256 Grand Street and removed the 34 year-old female victim's unattended purse. The purse contained an iPhone and multiple credit cards.

4: On Sunday, October 19, 2014 at approximately 0320 hours, the suspect entered "Privilege", located at 140 Graham Avenue and removed the 47 year-old female victim's bag. The victim's bag contained an unknown amount of cash, multiple credit cards, and an iPhone 4S.

Police describe the suspect as a "black Hispanic" male about 30 years old, approximately 5'10", and 160 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball hat and black jacket.
