Investigators have released video of suspects accused of attacking two people in Central Park on Saturday night.
According to police, a 17-year-old female and a 19-year-old male were sitting at the rear of the Hecksher Playground near South Drive and West Drive when they were approached by a group of about 15 teens: "The female suspect had a verbal dispute with the female victim. The suspect produced a taser type device and punched the victim in the face. As the victim was being attacked the male suspect took her purse and removed her iPhone cell phone from inside. The group then fled the scene on foot with the phone."
Police described the female suspect as being in her teens and around 5'5" (pictured right) and 135 pounds, while the male suspect is described as being in his teens, 6' and 210 pounds.
