Last week, the police asked for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly sexually attacked a 61-year-old Bronx woman before robbing her. The NYPD has now announced an arrest.
On April 25, the victim was followed into her apartment building near Walton Avenue and East 168 Street at 6:30 a.m. by the suspect, who then sexually assaulted her and took her personal property. The NYPD described the man as having a long ponytail and wearing a White Sox cap, and a neighbor had said to PIX 11, “I don’t know the guy - I’ve never seen him here in the neighborhood. I know everybody here.”
Yesterday, police said they had arrested 19-year-old Moises Granados, a New Haven, Connecticut resident, with the assault. He was charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal sex act.
