The police are looking for a gunman who walked up to a man standing outside a Brooklyn store and then shot him in the face.
According to the NYPD, at 8:16 p.m. on Sunday, July 27th, the 41-year-old victim was standing outside 653 Stanley Avenue in East New York, at the corner Quick Mart. His dog was next to him. The police say the suspect approached him, "displayed a firearm and shot him one time in the face, before fleeing the scene."
The victim is in critical condition. Police released video of the shooting and the suspect.
The suspect is described as being about 6'3" tall, 230 pounds, with brown eyes and close cut black hair. He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt and blue jeans.
